METHUEN, Mass. — A Methuen mother has been charged with motor vehicle homicide after an investigation into a July 2016 crash that killed her six-year-old son.
Flor de Paz was driving on Berkeley Street last year when she collided with a van.
Her son, Brian Pellegrino, was thrown from the car and was run over by another vehicle.
According to the Eagle Tribune, an investigation found the boy wasn’t in a booster seat and had not been using a seat belt at the time of the crash.
De Paz is due back in court next month.
