CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — The latest hack to hit MIT was in the form of Captain America's shield for the weekend as millions went to see the latest Avengers movie.

Hacks -- just pranks to those of us who didn't go to MIT -- are a regular occurrence at the prestigious Cambridge university. They've included a campus police cruiser being lifted to the roof, a giant Tetris game projected onto a building and even an alleged attempt to detonate the letters MIT into the Harvard Stadium football field.

The pranks are largely harmless and even take care to not do any lasting damage to building on MIT's campus or other schools campuses. However, according to the Tech, one recent graduate slipped and fell to his death while attempting a hack in 2017.
