Person killed by Orange Line train at Ruggles Station.

BOSTON — MBTA police say a young male was killed after Being hit by a train outside of Ruggles Station.

Orange Line service was suspended in the area for about an hour after the crash.

Transit Police Superintendent Richard Sullivan said it's unclear how or why the boy was on the tracks.
