BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- An MBTA bus caught fire in Boston Wednesday.
The fire started in the right rear wheel well of the bus in front of 100 Federal St. at about 4:30 p.m. No passengers were on board when the flames started and no injuries were reported.
Workers in the area said they heard an explosion beforehand.

Firefighters cleared the scene by 5 p.m.
