BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- The winners of Mass DOT's highway safety sign contest were revealed this week.
It all started when a state highway sign read, "Use Ya Blinkah."
Many entries came in with a common theme: the Boston Accent. Some options included "Check ya mirrah" and "If you're driving slowah, move ovah."
Only one winner was selected for each category. The road rage category winner was, "Keep calm and drive on." The districted driving category, "Put down the phone! Your LOLs and OMGs can wait." "Make ya mah proud, wear ya seat belt," won the seat belt use category.
Each of the signs will appear for a weekend on state roads.
