MANSFIELD, Mass. (AP) - A 13-year-old Mansfield boy killed when he was struck by a school bus while riding his bicycle is being laid to rest.
Funeral services for Shane Farrell are scheduled for Tuesday morning at the Edgewood Church of Christ.
Shane, a Qualters Middle School seventh-grader, was killed last Wednesday when he fell off his bicycle and beneath the rear wheels of the bus on East Street.
No charges have been filed.
According to his obituary, Shane's favorite subjects in school were history and science. He loved photography, acting, producing home video movies, and playing basketball, street hockey and Xbox.
He is survived by his parents and a sister.
