WOBURN, Mass. — A Hyde Park man was arrested in Woburn after police say he fired shots inside a home early Friday morning.
Woburn Police responded to reports of shots fired just before 2 a.m. on 7 Samoset Road.
As responding officers canvassed the scene, the suspect jumped out of a window and fled on foot. A State Police K-9 unit helped respond and track the suspect two streets down in the shed of a nearby home.
Police arrested Andrew Neal, 43, and charged him with three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm, obliterated serial number of a firearm, discharging a weapon within 500 feet of a dwelling and warrant for larceny of a motor vehicle.
Authorities say more charges could be added.
While a gun was recovered, K-9 units are still searching for a magazine.
