• Malden Police searching for suspect in alleged B&E

MALDEN, Mass. - Malden Police are investigating a breaking and entering that occurred in the area of Holloway Street in the city, according to a post on the department’s official Facebook page.

Police initially responded to a sounded alarm at a home on that street, located less than half a mile off of Route 60 in Malden. There, officials learned that the house was unsecured and unoccupied during the time the alarm went off.

They later determined that a breaking and entering had happened.

The owner of the residence provided video from their home surveillance service, which allowed police to capture images of the suspect allegedly involved with the break-in. The homeowner said she did not recognize the person from the video tape.

Law enforcement is asking anybody who recognizes the individual from the provided images to contact Malden Police. They can be reached at (781) 397-7171, or anonymously at maldenpd.com
