Your guide to 2023 Boston Pride parade: Route, start time, festival details

BOSTON — The city of Boston on Saturday will host its first Pride parade since 2019.

The Pride parade and festivities were canceled for two years because of the pandemic and then the Boston Pride organization dissolved amid criticisms over lack of race and transgender inclusion.

The new group behind this year’s parade, Boston Pride For The People, says the fresh start for Pride in Boston offers an opportunity to represent everyone in the LGBTQ community and reach those who haven’t felt included in the past.
