LAKEVILLE, Mass. — Two people were sent to the hospital after a motor vehicle crash in Lakeville.

According to the Lakeville Fire Department, the incident occurred just after 2 PM in the area of Pond Cemetery on Bedford Street, when authorities received reports of a crash.

Once there, fire crews found two people suffering from serious injuries. Mutual aid was requested, prompting additional firefighters and ambulances to be called onto the scene.

One victim, an adult male, was treated for life-threatening-injuries and was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital via ambulance.

Another victim, an adult female, was also taken to St. Luke’s with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

“The Lakeville Fire Department would like to thank our first responders for their professionalism, teamwork, and commitment to serving our community,” the fire department wrote on their Facebook page.
