SANDWICH, Mass. — Sandwich police are investigating a school bus crash Wednesday afternoon that sent three people to the hospital including two students.
Officers responded to a car crash involving a Sandwich Public Schools bus and a pickup truck at the intersection of Farmersville and Cotuit roads around 2 p.m.
According to Sandwich fire officials, the driver of the pickup was treated and taken to Cape Cod Hospital with minor injuries. The school bus from the Oak Ridge School was relocated back to the school where all 15 students and the bus operator were evaluated. Two kids from the bus were taken to Cape Cod Hospital with minor injuries.
The accident is under investigation by the Sandwich Police Department.
