CAMBRIDGE — A small fire forced some students from their school in Cambridge Tuesday morning.
The Cambridge Fire Department says the fire was in a closet at the Cambridgeport School on Elm Street.
The fire was extinguished, but school and MBTA buses were called in to shelter evacuated students while crews worked to clear the elementary school of smoke.
School was closed for the rest of the day.
