Police ask public for help in finding missing Lowell teenager Lenilda Melo, 16, is missing, Lowell Police said. (Lowell Police Department)

LOWELL, Mass. — Lowell Police are asking the public for help in locating a missing 16-year-old girl.

Lenilda Melo was last seen in the area of Willard Street on April 14, police said.

Police described Melo as a Brazilian female with brown eyes, brown hair with red highlights, and standing about 5 feet 5 inches tall.

Anyone with information on where Melo may be is asked to call Lowell Police at 978-937-3200.
