WORCESTER — A 44-year-old man was shot and killed near a Worcester restaurant early Saturday morning, police said.
Officers responded to the area of the Paku Lounge at 215 Chandler St. around 1:30 a.m. Saturday after receiving a report from ShotSpotter, the city’s gunfire detection system.
When officers arrived, they found the gunshot victim on the ground.
Police rendered medical aid to the man, who was sent by ambulance to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
