BATH, NH — A New Hampshire man is facing charges after an alleged violent assault inside a Bath home Thursday night, according to police.
New Hampshire State Police responded to a home in Bath around 8:30 p.m. Thursday after receiving a call that a man was assaulting another man inside with a blunt object.
When troopers arrived, they were told that the suspect had already drove off.
Troopers stopped the suspect on Route 10 in Haverhill and placed him under arrest.
Alexander Anderson, 25, of Bath, was charged with felony first-degree assault with a deadly weapon, kidnapping, criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, and domestic violence for obstructing the report of a crime/injury, according to New Hampshire State Police.
Anderson was expected to appear in Haverhill District Court on July 17.
