Emergency crews responded to 2 Ring Road after receiving reports that a motorcycle struck a utility pole.

A Medflight helicopter landed in the field behind the fire station, and flew the victim to Boston Medical Center with traumatic injuries, fire officials said.

Sunday’s motorcycle crash occurred two days after a Halifax father and daughter were killed in a motorcycle crash in Hanson on Friday.

Hanson police said 58-year-old James Ripley and his 19-year-old daughter Jenna Ripley were riding a motorcycle down Route 58 near Hill Road Friday when they went off the road and struck a pole.
