Meet Hubcat! The kitten who was caught in the wheel of a truck in Lawrence earlier this month.
The MSPCA gave the kitten the name Hubcat and they say he is getting bigger everyday and recovering in a foster home.
“He is definitely going to need surgery to repair his leg, but first his little body is working hard to heal from an infection – he is doing a great job,” said the MSPCA.
Hubcat is receiving daily antibiotics and despite his paw being wrapped in bandages, the MSPCA says he is walking, running, jumping, and playing with his siblings.
Hubcat will need surgery on his leg, and vets plan on amputating his toes in order to save the rest of his leg.
