Mass. — Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and a new study shows that Massachusetts has been ranked as the 8th best state for singles.
Along with looks, personality, interests, and employment status, your location can influence your odds of finding a romantic partner. Everyone has different priorities when searching for love, but certain places simply make dating easier than others.
Personal finance website WalletHub on Tuesday unveiled its 2025 “Best & Worst States for Singles”, crowning the Bay State 8th out of 50.
To determine the best and worst states for singles, WalletHub compared the 50 states across 29 key indicators of dating-friendliness. The data set ranges from the share of single adults to the unemployment rate for singles to the number of restaurants per capita.
Massachusetts ranked 8th with a score of 60.10 while Florida ranked 1st with a score of 68.21.
