MANCHESTER, N.H. — Manchester-Boston Regional Airport in New Hampshire was briefly evacuated Monday night following a bomb threat.

The airport tweeted Monday night that police and airport K-9 teams conducted security sweeps after the threat was made.
The deputy director of Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, Thomas J. Malafronte, told Boston 25 that a bomb threat was reported at 11 p.m. Monday. Officials said that out of an abundance of caution, they evacuated the terminal.
Malafronte added that only primarily employees were in the building at the time and a few passengers. There was a 90-minute delay for two arrivals - Southwest and American Airlines - while sweeps were being conducted.

Employees and passengers were allowed back in the terminal before 2 a.m. on Tuesday.
Boston 25 has reached out to the airport and police to find out if any arrests were made as a result of the threat.
