PEABODY, Mass. — A man was seriously injured in a car crash in Peabody on Monday, police say.
Officials say a call came in at 5:15 p.m. for reports of a car off the road in the area of 95 southbound on the ramp to 128 southbound. The call stated the car had hit a median.
Emergency personnel had to call in for a medical helicopter to transport the victim, a 45-year-old Burlington man. He was taken to Boston Medical Center with serious injuries.
State Police cleared the scene of the crash by around 7:15 p.m.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
