BOSTON — A 60-year-old Boston man was arrested for exposing himself on an MBTA bus to other passengers and also inside the Nubian Square station.
MBTA Transit Police say they arrested David Jones after citizens reported a man inside Nubian Square station exposing himself to random patrons around 4 p.m. Friday afternoon.
While an officer was searching for him, an MBTA bus driver flagged down the officer and told him there was a man on her bus exposing himself.
The officer boarded the bus and saw the man, later identified as Jones, who was seated and had his pants down exposing himself and drinking from a can of beer.
The officer had to physically removed Jones from the bus after repeated requests to leave the bus.
Subsequently, the officer discovered there was a warrant for Jones’ arrest in a previous case for open & gross lewdness and resisting arrest.
Police arrested Jones, and he will be additionally charged for open & gross lewdness for his behavior within the station and on the bus on Friday.
