PLYMOUTH, Mass. — A resident in Plymouth is asking the community for assistance after their pet boa constrictor escaped from their home.
Boston 25 came across a post on Facebook from a resident seeking help regarding their missing reptile, Linguini.
The snake is about 10 feet long and nearly 20 inches around. Boa constrictors, specifically the males, typically reach anywhere from 6 to 8 feet in length. They can also weigh up to 100 pounds.
Boston 25 reached out to the Town of Plymouth’s Animal Control office for comment. They say that they have been made aware of the loose reptile and “do not believe there to be a threat.”
The Town of Plymouth will provide updates once more become available.
