WAREHAM, Mass. — Authorities are investigating after a man was killed following a tractor-trailer accident at a warehouse facility in Wareham, the Plymouth County District Attorney’s office announced.
Wareham police responded to the Chatham Village Foods warehouse facility around 9:43 AM to reports of an injured worker.
Once there, police found the 56-year-old man pinned behind a loading dock by a tractor-trailer unit, who appeared to be suffering from life-threatening injuries. At 9:54 AM, the man was pronounced dead on the scene.
Members of the MSP Crime Scene Section, the MSP Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, and the MSP Commercial Motor Vehicle Enforcement Section are investigating the incident.
The victim’s identity is being withheld at this time pending notification of kin.
