PLYMOUTH, Mass. — Vandals have again marred a historic landmark in the area, Plymouth Rock, police said.

White paint was poured onto the rock, Plymouth Police Chief Michael Botieri confirmed Friday night.

It’s the latest vandalism to the landmark.

In February, Plymouth Police were seeking charges against a 17-year-old who they said was responsible for 11 different instances of vandalism across town, including Plymouth Rock.

The historic rock has the year “1620″ on it, and marks the site where the Mayflower pilgrims landed and later founded Plymouth Colony.
