HINGHAM, Mass. — Police in Hingham are investigating after a man allegedly attempted to abduct a 10-year-old boy on South Street in the town. That incident took place around 1:40 p.m. near the Hingham Community Center.
Police alleged that the suspect was in a car at the time of the attempted abduction. That suspect is described as a white male with brown hair and was wearing a black hoodie.

Police said that he drove away in a Lexus sedan that was either black or dark gray.
