A heavy police presence on MBTA tracks near Fenway Park coincided with a pause in service on the Worcester Line Wednesday night.
The police investigation caused heavy commuter rail delays that were still in effect near midnight.
Worcester Line Train 532 (8:25 pm from Worcester) remains stopped at Boston Landing and is approximately 2 hours behind schedule due to police activity on the right of way.

Boston 25 has reached out to MBTA officials about the cause of the investigation but have yet to receive pertinent information.
