Firefighters battle large fire in Brighton commercial building

BOSTON — Boston firefighters are battling a large fire at a building in Brighton that houses several businesses.

Firefighters were called to the building at 185 Corey Road around 4:30 a.m. Thick, black smoke could be seen coming from the second floor.

Crews had to be ordered out of the building and off of the roof as they continue battling the flames.

Nearby Driscoll School in Brookline will be closed Friday due to the smoke in the neighborhood.
