Drone video: Shark off Nauset Beach in Orleans

An aerial photographer from Florida captured some great videos of some of New England’s other summer visitors during a trip to Cape Cod.

Jacob Merrifield was visiting a friend in Orleans and captured videos of a shark about 100 yards off Nauset Beach.

Merrifield, of Bradenton, FL took the shots on Wednesday - just one of the many shark sightings reported off Cape Cod beaches over the last couple of days.

In a separate shark sighting, Capt. Paul Tofuri and Owen Tofuri, tell Boston 25 they were off Monomoy Island on Thursday when they captured some underwater video of an apparent white shark.

The Tofuris said they were about 500 yards offshore. They were out searching for a shark sighting when they had some luck.
