EAST KINGSTON, N.H. — Firefighters and a local veterinarian helped in a horse rescue at Happy Hollow farm in East Kingston, N.H. on Wednesday.

Crews put a mask on the horse to keep it calm.

Rescuers say it took about an hour to get the horse back on its legs and stabilized.

The East Kingston Fire Department says it took a lot of teamwork and cooperation and knowing what their resources were.

We’re told the horse is doing much better.
