BOSTON — An investigation is underway after a construction worker fell 3 stories down an elevator shaft Friday afternoon, Boston Police said.
According to officials, the construction worker was alert and conscious when emergency crews arrived on the scene, in the area of Braintree Street in Brighton.
The worker was transported to a local area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No word on the cause of the fall.
OSAH and ISD are assisting with the investigation.
