ASHLAND, Mass. — Ashland police are investigating an accident at Cherry Street crossing Sunday night after a train crashed into a car. There are no reports of any injuries, according to police.
The fire department responded to assist with a fuel leak from the car and Keolis worked to remove the vehicle.
The evening shift is currently on scene of a train vs. car incident in the downtown area. The MBTA reported more than a two-hour delay from South Station to Worcester line.
✅ Normal service has resumed on the Worcester Line but passengers may experience residual delays due to earlier police activity on the right of way.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
