Cape Cod named among best staycation destinations for 2023

CAPE COD, Mass — Looking for a little vacation without going too far?

In a new study done by Travel Lens, Cape Cod has been named among the best staycation destination for 2023.

Cape Cod was ranked 10th in the best staycation destinations in the U.S.

Travel Lens looked at destinations with the most restaurants and attractions per 10,000 people as well as those that are the safest, most affordable, and have the highest average temperature to determine the best overall locations for a staycation.

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina was ranked first with a staycation score of 8.15.

Cape Cod, Massachusetts was ranked 10th with a station score of 6.26.

The average cost of accommodation is $131 per night during the weekend.

There are roughly 60 restaurants and 85 attractions per 10,000 people

The average temperature here is 51.4 F.

3. Key West, Florida: 7.69
4. Page, Arizona: 7.49
5. Moab, Utah: 7.18
6. Tampa, Florida: 6.97
7. Miami, Florida: 6.92
8. Charleston, South Carolina: 6.72
9. Stanley, Idaho: 6.31
10. Cape Cod, Massachusetts: 6.26
