Boston Police searching for vehicle, driver involved in hit-and-run crash that injured pedestrian

BOSTON — Police are searching for a vehicle and driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that injured a pedestrian on Sunday afternoon.

Around 4:52 p.m. Sunday, Boston Police officers responded to the area of Silber Way and Bay State Road for a report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle, police said.

The vehicle drove away from the scene, police said.

The victim was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made. Further details were not immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
