BOSTON — Boston Police identify man killed in Dorchester shooting,

Boston Police identified on Saturday the man who was shot and killed early Thursday morning in Dorchester. A second man was injured in the shooting.

Deangelo Taldon, 33, of Boston, died, while a second man suffered non-life- threatening injuries, according to police.

Boston Police said they responded to the area of 68 Whitfield Street in Dorchester around 2:30 a.m. on Thursday. They found both men with gunshot wounds and brought them to a local hospital, where Taldon died.

Boston Police is investigating the shooting.
