BROCKTON, Mass. — Authorities are investigating after a body was found floating in a pond in Brockton on Tuesday afternoon.
Police received a call 4:18 p.m. reporting a dead body floating in a pond at D.W. Field Park, police said.
Police did not say if foul play is suspected.
Firefighters arrived and removed the body.
The State Police Crime Prevention and Control Unit assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s office are assisting Brockton Police with the investigation.
No other details were immediately available.
