Barnstable Police find gunshot victim in serious condition in Hyannis

BARNSTABLE, Mass. — Responding to reports of a disturbance in Hyannis on Friday night, Barnstable Police found a man who had been shot, according to a Facebook post by the department.

Police responded around 11:30 p.m. to those reports on Dumont Drive. The man was taken to Cape Cod Hospital by the Hyannis Fire Department where he had surgery. Barnstable Police said he remains in serious but stable condition as of early Saturday morning.
