NEW BEDFORD, Mass. — Two men from New Bedford were charged in connection to an ongoing homicide investigation, the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday. Those men were identified as Christopher Boyer, 19, and Anthony Rosario, 20.

Boyer was charged with Accessory to Murder After the Fact while Rosario faces a charge of Assault and Battery to Collect a Loan. Rosario will be held without bail, while Boyer is being held on $1,000 cash bail until they are both in court in the coming weeks.

Those charges stem from the shooting death of Joseph Pauline, a 32-year-old man who police say was shot dead in the parking lot of a Richdale Food Market on Brock Avenue in the city Friday night.
