At least 49 people were killed in mass shootings at two mosques on what the prime minister called "one of New Zealand's darkest days." The attack was carried out during Friday prayers, when mosques were full of worshippers.
In a Facebook post, the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center (ISBCC) said, "the whole Muslim community across the world is in mourning. Some of us are in a state of fear, some of us are in a state of anger, many of us in both and more."
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu Dear Beloved ISBCC Community, We all woke up to the horrific news of 49...

Boston Mayor Marty Walsh offered his support on Twitter saying the city stands with their Muslim friends and neighbors.
Boston’s thoughts are with New Zealand and with Muslims all across the world as we mourn the loss of the innocent lives taken from us in a place of peace and worship.

Boston Police officers were also stationed outside ISBCC in Roxbury where a "Khutbah," or a sermon, was given to mourn the lives lost in the attacks ahead of the Friday prayer congregation.
