LANCASTER, Mass. — A woman has died after crashing her car Friday night.
Lancaster police and fire were called to 6 Lee Street just before 8 p.m. Friday for a report of a single car rollover with ejection.
Crews found a 2004 BMW that had rolled over on its passenger side facing the wrong direction. The female driver was ejected and taken to UMASS Worcester Trauma Center where she later died. She has been identified as Sandra McCandrews of Lancaster.
The crash and cause of death are still under investigation.
