WALPOLE, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Walpole police are looking for the man who used a smartphone camera to reportedly film a woman inside a dressing room at the Kohl's department store at the Walpole Mall on Saturday.

Investigators at Walpole Police Department have been interviewing the victim and a witness, and say though the type of crime is uncommon, it is increasing in this digital age.

It was a standard Saturday shopping for two women at Kohl's on Route 1 in Walpole, when suddenly things turned sinister.

"Then I noticed a hand, and he like swooped it right under my dressing room," said the shopper, who does not want to be identified, but does want to warn the public about what happened to her.

"Then I noticed a phone, then I started to cover myself up and backed myself up against the wall," she said.

Police say a predator, a man in the women's dressing room, videoed her at her most vulnerable, while she was getting changed.

Horrified, she called for help, and her friend witnessed the suspect take off.

"I heard her scream, then all of a sudden I saw a man come running out of the dressing room," her friend said.

Monday, police were scanning surveillance to find a suspect. Meanwhile, they want woman to know their rights.

Disorderly conduct and upskirting laws in Massachusetts cover Peeping Toms. Women in fitting rooms have the expectation of privacy.

"Some creep is going around doing this, It just makes me feel so disgusting," the victim said.

At this point, police only have a vague description of the suspect. He is described as a white male male in his 40s with reddish brown hair, about six feet tall.  If you know anything abut this crime, police want to hear from you. They are also warning women to be on alert and vigilant.
