Heinz Ketchup wants to make Monday after Super Bowl a holiday

Eating excessive amounts of dip, drinking a lot of beer and staying up late means that the Monday after the Super Bowl tends to be a painful one.

Heinz Ketchup thinks Americans should have that day to relax in bed, so the company has started a petition to make it a holiday.

"We eat. We drink. And we be merry, having the tastiest times of our lives. But then the very next day we settle for that Monday being a terrible work day," said the company.

Statistically, many people do call in sick following the big game.

If the change.org petition receives 100,000 signatures, it will be sent to Congress.
