(MyFoxBoston.com) -- FOX25's Student-Athlete of the Week is senior captain Dakota Mullen, who goes by Cody, from Bishop Fenwick High School.
As a wide receiver, Cody has helped lead the varsity football team to many wins, including scoring three touchdowns against Austin Preparatory School. He also had ten catches for 137 yards in the game. Last year, Cody also helped lead the team to a 26-game winning streak, only losing in the Eastern Massachusetts Finals. He is planing to continue his football career in college and is looking at many of the NE-10 schools.
Besides his success on the field, Cody has a 3.5 GPA and also took part in the Josten’s Harbour Tour Leadership Conference recently held at Pinkerton Academy in New Hampshire.
Director of Athletics Dave Woods described Cody as an outstanding student athlete and worthy of recognition for his performance on and off the field.
Cody and the Bishop Fenwick High School Crusaders next play against Saint Mary’s High School in the second round of the MIAA playoffs.
