NEWBURY, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) - A female body has been found on the beach on Plum Island according to the Essex County District Attorney's office.
People walking along the beach in the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge noticed the body and notified police Sunday morning.
Few details have been released, but police and the DA is investigating the incident.
A medical examiner is working to determine the woman's cause of death before her identity is released.
