REVERE, Mass. – The FBI is searching for a man they believe robbed at least four local branches of Citizens Bank in the past week.
All of the robberies took place at branches located inside Stop & Shop grocery stores, and now investigators are asking for help identifying him before he strikes again.
According to the FBI, the crime spree began on April 28 when he robbed the Citizens Bank at 60 Everett St. in Allston. It continued with Citizens Bank robberies on May 5 in Somerville, May 6 in Revere and May 7 in Allston again.
On May 5, police said the man also stole an Infiniti Q5 from the Herb Chambers dealership on Commonwealth Ave in Boston to use for his getaway vehicle. The license plates are 5EK822.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect or may have information is asked to call the FBI’s Bank Robbery Task Force at 857-386-2384.
