SHIRLEY, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A baby deer died after being rescued from a fence by a Shirley Police officer.
Officer Craig LaPrade was able to rescue the fawn from a fenced enclosure and release it back into the woods. However, the fawn passed away overnight from stress or malnutrition, according to The Sentinel and Enterprise.
