BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A local man is searching for the owner of photos that were found strewn across Gallivan Boulevard in Dorchester on Sunday.
Sean Curran was riding his bike when he saw photos and postcards along the street.
"It looked like Times Square after New Year's," Curran said.
Curran was able to grab a few photos and postcards off the road, but unrelenting traffic made it impossible to pick up all the pictures. Curran said he called police and they said they would send an officer down to check out the scene, but Curran decided to take matters into his own hands and post some details to Facebook.

Some of the postcards dated from 2011 are addressed to an apartment on Old Colony Drive on Quincy, and the name "Charles Dowell" can be seen on some of the mail.
Curran estimates that because of the volume of photos and cards in the street, an entire box of the mementos may have fallen off a truck or out of a car. He said he saw baby photos, military photos and wedding photos.
He is hoping to alert the owner where their belongings landed, so someone might be able to salvage them.
