PEABODY, Mass. — The United States Geological Survey reported another minor earthquake in Peabody, the third tremor to shake the area in a month.

Wednesday’s earthquake was a magnitude 1.3, and according to the USGS, at least 18 people reported feeling the ground move.
No injuries or damage was reported.

This is the third earthquake reported in the area since the end of July.
On July 25, a magnitude 1.4 earthquake was reported, and a little more than a week later a magnitude 1.2 was reported.
Residents will have a chance to voice their concerns and ask questions about the recent earthquakes at a public forum scheduled for 6 p.m. on August 25 at Wiggin Auditorium at City Hall.
