CHICAGO — Iconic Chicago DJ Doug Banks died at age 57 Monday morning.
Banks' station, V103 in Chicago, announced the news on its website Monday afternoon.
WLS-TV reported that Banks died from diabetes complications.
Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel tweeted a statement, saying in part, "With the passing of Doug Banks, Chicago has lost one of our most iconic radio voices."
