CHESTER, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A golden retriever that ran off after a fatal car crash Saturday has been found safety thanks to alert volunteers.
State police said 47-year0old Craig Vanier was drunk when he crashed into a mini van driven by Susan McMahon and killed her husband.
The McMahon’s dog, Gracie, ran into the woods and but after many hours searching volunteers from the Granite State Dog Recovery group were able to find her Sunday.
Vanier was charged with aggravated DUI.
