BOSTON — Police are seeking help from the public after a man in his 70s with serious head trauma died Wednesday at a Boston hospital from injuries he may have sustained a day earlier on Huntington Avenue.
Boston Police said they were called to Brigham & Women's Hospital early Wednesday for a report of an older man, believed to be in his 70s, who was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The man had serious head trauma, police said, and later died.
But police are currently unsure if the man sustained the injuries in an accident or an attack.
Investigators from the BPD homicide unit believe he may have been injured Tuesday night in the area of 868 Huntington Ave. Detectives are asking anyone who was in that area between 8-9 p.m. on Aug. 27 and who may have seen something to contact them at 617-343-4470.
